At the Oaklands Hall Hotel we are not scared to do things a little differently. We will do whatever we can to ensure our guests have thebest experience with us and will want to re-visit us time and time again. Some of the personal touches that we offer include a special home-made treat on arrival, express breakfast service, take away tea and coffee for the journey and a packed lunch service to keep you going through the day. When dining in The Comfy Duck Restaurant we will tantalise your tastebuds with our sumptuous menu and added extras such as our home-made breads and complimentary amuse bouche.

The Comfy Duck

Known for our use of seasonal local ingredients, exciting presentation, modern decor and relaxed atmosphere, we offer a delicious A la Carte menu to suit all tastes. Book at table in the comfort of our restaurant, or take advantage of our Private Dining room for parties of up to 20 people for the ultimate dining experience.

Since opening our doors in 2012 we have been awarded an AA rosette, Taste of Excellence Award for two years running and The Journal's Restaurant of the Year 2013-2014 voted for by the readers.

Our Kitchen is run by Head Chef Steven Bennett who began cooking at the age of 18, born and raised in Grimsby. Steven opened the doors to The Comfy Duck in 2012 following over 15 years working at various local restaurants and a Michelin star restaurant in North Yorkshire.
